Our goal is to make sure your product gets to your door as safe and effectively as possible.
We will do our best to ship in-stock parts orders the same day as long as you ordered before 2:00 PM ET (Monday – Friday). If they do not ship the same day they will ship the next day. Special order parts will take 1-2 weeks delivery. Boat shipments will take 2-4 days to prep and ship depending on size, freight pick up and ultimate destination.
Our goal is to fill your special requests. Call us at 252-489-3491 it you have special requests.
We ship orders Monday – Friday excluding USPS and UPS holidays.
Most parts will ship via a standard parcel carrier. In the United States we typically ship by UPS or US Postal Service. Shipments to post office boxes must always be made by the United States Postal Service. UPS will not deliver to a PO. Box. Large shipment s are shipped via LTL freight. Boats on trailer are shipped individually on their own trailer via a delivery service.
We ship within the United States, Hawaii, Alaska, and the Caribbean. Any shipping beyond these destinations are treated on a case by case basis. Central and South America shipments are prepaid and shipped to a US port of export to their Freight Forwarder.
When you place an order in our online store, the shipping charge is typically calculated at checkout based on weight of order. Larger items will have shipping amount added after the order has been processed and then charged to the client. We will not ship until order is paid in full.
Exact shipping charges for certain types of orders are not covered by the charges listed during checkout. This happens under the following circumstances:
Boats are custom packaged on a pallet/crates designed to keep the boat safe in transit. These pallets/crates are oversized and we currently quote the delivery of each boat on an individual basis using LTL freight. We charge a fee for pallets or crates on an individual basis. Using LTL freight gives us the ability to find the best rate and safe delivery of your purchase.
We have configured our shipping system to quote $0 for all boats however this is only a budget figure and we will call to confirm your final shipping cost upon confirmation of the order.
Please note that because of the oversized nature of this product customers are fully responsible for any shipping costs related to returns as well as a restocking/packaging should you choose not to keep the boat.
Customer is responsible for checking package or pallet for damage. The Bill of lading is a legal document. If Bill of Lading or delivery ticket is signed and the shipment released and you find damage at a later date, East Cast sailboats will not be responsible for the damage or any cost associated with it. Both obvious and hidden damage at the time of receipt. Damage must be noted on the shipping ticket or Bill of Lading of the carrier. Damage will need to be reported to East Coast Sailboats, Inc at that time by calling (252) 489-3491.
